The OE downpipes have a restrictive cat located right after a bend in the tubing, causing exhaust gas flow turbulence in the system. By placing a high-flow HJS catalytic converter further downstream, we've smoothed flow and allowed air to move more freely. AWE Tuning downpipes will mate to their cat back system or any system designed to work with the stock downpipes.
