Overview The Perrin Catback Exhaust for Subaru WRX and STI Sedans that features an all stainless steel design, a straight through muffler and a 4 Inch slash cut tip. This adds 15 WHP and brings out the sought after boxer rumble. Brushed Slash Cut Tip An over-sized 4" slash cut exhaust tip adds an aggressive look to this impressive system. Perrin exhaust tips are a brushed stainless steel with single wall construction. Straight Through Muffler Perrin mufflers and flanges have a true 3" internal diameter for uninterrupted exhaust flow throughout the entire length, not necked down, for ultra smooth transitions throughout the system. Additional Power Tests were performed on a Subaru STI 2007 running on stock ECU tune. The exhaust were swapped out in five minutes and re-dynoed Subaru STI 2007 which generated an additional 15WHP and 15ft-lbs of torque. Finish Perrin Exhaust systems come with a brushed stainless steel finish featuring TIG welding for precise, clean welds. These Catback are constructed exclusively of 304 Stainless steel (304SS). 304SS provides high corrosion resistance and can withstand heat upwards of 1,800°F. Other manufacturers utilize cheaper 409 Stainless Steel which will rust and corrode over time. Perrin invested 304SS into this product to provide beautiful and enduring finish and durability. Clamps Perrin OEM-Type slip connectors have both slip and twist adjustments to aid in aligning the exhaust and muffler. Perrin slip claims do not require gaskets and are designed for easy adjustments and removal after use.
